Context

Tassie is an Amsterdam-based startup offering self-guided city tours that make tourism more cultural, social, and spontaneous.

The app lets users explore cities through curated walking routes that mix landmarks, hidden gems, and conversation prompts, turning each stop into an interactive experience.

Tassie operates on two fronts:

Challenge

The original app had potential but suffered from cluttered navigation, redundant actions, and low visual appeal.

Tassie needed a modern, cohesive design system that resonated with young travelers and reflected Amsterdam’s creative, indie energy.

Problem

Goal

Restructure the user flow and reframe the visual design without changing core branding elements in order to help Tassie launch a new B2B strategy targeting hotels and companies.
